My son has 3b hair except for the upper middle section which is 3a. His hair can be very frizzy and dry when it is not well moisturized which can be a hassle with a young man. He washes his hair once a week with Kirkland deep moisture shampoo -SULFATE & PARABEN FREE- but conditions daily, using Kirkland deep moisture conditioner, and combing with a wide tooth comb while conditioner is in his hair. He towel dries lightly without rubbing. I have made a combination oil, aloe and glycerin mixture (super easy) that he applies to his hair daily after showering as well as a chemical free cream or gelly. Squeezing products in rather than rubbing is best. I will post some pictures of products that we have tried and homemade mixtures that we count on. The biggest factor is moisture!! Get it in anyway you can. Below is a picture of IM's hair well nourished.
